Is it time to replace your central heating system?
If you choose one of the following products, there is no need to submit an application for a grant. The amount will be deducted directly from the installer’s invoice.

Receive a $22,000 grant when you purchase and install an ETS system and central heat pump.

Hydro‑Québec is proud to join forces with the Québec government in the context of the 2030 Plan for a Green Economy . Under this plan, the government pays Hydro‑Québec part of the grant that it offers participants through the LogisVert Program for purchasing and installing an electric thermal storage (ETS) system.

You must submit your request within nine months of the equipment installation date.
Yes, the assistance calculation tool available at the LogisVert Efficient Homes Program web portal will help you estimate the amount you may be eligible to receive based on the measures you intend to install. All you have to do is answer a few simple questions.
Yes, you'll need to provide the following personal information: last name, first name, address, email address, phone number and a description of your home. If your home is a source of income, you must also provide your social insurance number. You'll also have to attach proof of ownership as well as purchase and installation invoices to your grant request.
Make sure you have a Hydro‑Québec bill on hand, since you might have to provide information, described below, that can be found on it. You won’t have to send us a copy of the bill.
- Customer number: This 9‑digit number begins with a 1. It can be found at the top of your bill. Here’s an example of a customer number.
- Meter number: This number is usually a combination of 11 or 12 letters and numbers. It appears on the second page of your bill, in the Details of Electricity Use box. It is also written directly on your meter, on a label located under the digital display. Here’s an example of a meter number.
Hydro‑Québec and its partner, Groupe Marketing International (GMI), will use all means necessary to protect your personal information.
Depending on your situation, you may need to provide your social insurance number (SIN) at the end of the process in order to receive a grant. Your SIN is only required when your request for the grant is approved. You’ll receive instructions to send your SIN safely. Never send your SIN by email.
Hydro‑Québec needs your SIN to send you a Relevé 27 – Paiements du gouvernement. Hydro‑Québec is required to issue this tax slip to all individuals to whom the grant was awarded under its programs. Please note that Hydro‑Québec will not keep your SIN once the grant has been paid. You will need to provide it each time you submit an application for a grant.

Model number
The model number corresponds to a specific version of a product with the same characteristics. It is composed of either:

Serial number
The serial number is a unique number assigned to a device. It is composed of either:

It often starts with S/N.
RBQ licence number
The Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) licence number can be found at the top or the bottom of the invoice of the company that did the work. This 10‑digit number is usually presented like this: "Licence RBQ: XXXX‑XXXX‑XX."
AHRI number (for efficient heat pumps)
The AHRI (Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute) number is a unique combination of 9 to 12 numbers.
