DR Options – Enrollment in DR Leeway Option now open

It's official: The DR Leeway Option is now available to business customers.

Your customers can now sign up for either the DR Leeway Option or the DR Commitment Option and choose how many hours they want to participate during winter 2026‑2027.

To help you support them, here's a reminder of the key features of each option.

Out of these two offers, the DR Leeway Option provides the most flexibility in terms of participation in peak demand events.

• Customers can select the maximum number of peak demand event hours per winter, ranging from 20 to 100 hours, including or excluding weekend days, based on their ability to reduce their power demand.
• The greater the number of peak demand hours selected, the greater the credit at the end of the winter.
• To be entitled to the credit, customers must participate in at least 50% of the peak demand events, based on the number of hours selected, and provide an effective interruptible power (EIP) of more than 10 kW.

The DR Commitment Option is aimed at more experienced customers who are able to commit to reducing their power demand by a predetermined amount.

• Customers can select the maximum number of peak demand event hours per winter, ranging from 20 to 100 hours, including or excluding weekend days, as well as the number of events per day (one or two), based on their ability to reduce their power demand by a predetermined amount.
• The greater the number of peak demand hours selected, the greater the credit at the end of the winter.
• To be entitled to the maximum credit, customers must provide the predetermined interruptible power during all scheduled hours, failing which an optimization charge will apply.
