Add an address
You can add an address by logging into your Customer Space. To do so, you’ll need the full street address of the premises you would like to add, including the postal code.

What will you need?
- Contract holder: Your most recent bill.
- Proxy holder or account manager: A recent bill of the account you manage.
*large‑power customers: Contact your commercial officer to create your Customer Space.
Rate L or LG customers (5,000 kw or more)
Contract administration charge
Please notify us no earlier than six months before taking possession of the new service address.
There is no charge if you make your request online using Hydro‑Québec’s self-service tool, However, if you make your request through a Hydro‑Québec customer service representative, you will be charged a $25 fee (plus GST/QST). It will be on your first bill.
According to the current Conditions of service, Hydro‑Québec may require a payment guarantee as a condition of electricity service if your company has defaulted on its payments in the last 24 months.
The deposit amount corresponds to the highest estimated billing amount (power and energy) for 60 consecutive days.
Change your arrival or departure date
You’ve informed us of your moving date only to find your plans have changed? You can modify the date by logging into your Customer Space.
You have no contracts with billing demand
You can also make your request by calling us at 514 385‑7252 (Montréal) or 1 888 385‑7252 (everywhere else).
We can be reached from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
You have at least one contract with billing demand
If you are billed at Rate L or LG
