Hydro‑Québec strives continually to keep up on best business practices in line with its values, current legislation and the highest possible standards.
The Supplier Code of Conduct sets out our expectations with respect to suppliers with whom we have a business relation, and their subcontractors. The Code is an integral part of the contractual documents that guide our business relations with these collaborators.

Handling breaches of the Code of Conduct
Hydro‑Québec is committed to fighting corruption and has obtained ISO 37001:2016 certification for its anti-corruption management system. As one of Quebec’s largest work providers, the company adopts best ethical practices.
To ensure fairness towards its suppliers, Hydro-Québec has also adopted a standard that specifies the terms and conditions for dealing with breaches of the Code of Conduct.

Any person may, in the public interest, disclose to the Protecteur du citoyen
information that may show that wrongdoing has been committed or is about to be committed against Hydro-Québec. The Protecteur du citoyen specialized powers, provides confidentiality and immunity for the transmission of information, ensures impartial follow-up of the case and its recommendations, and can offer legal protection against reprisals.
