Find your Supplier number

If you are already a Hydro-Québec supplier, be sure to have your supplier number handy. It will help us identify your company more quickly.

Your supplier number can be found on your purchase order (Commande), blanket contract (Contrat), payment notice (Avis de paiement) or cheque stub.

It comprises 6 to 10 characters–numbers or letters–starting with a number. Examples: 123456, 0A12345678

Where to find my registration number?

The registration number is the number associated with your company in the Supplier Space.

It allows your identification when, among other things, you have to complete the Request to add an administrator to another record

Pay the annual subscription

The subscription provides unlimited access to documents pertaining to open RFPs and permission to submit bids during the 12-month period after you become a subscriber.

Your company must sign up for an annual subscription if it wishes to participate in an open call for tenders.

The annual cost is $75 and replaces the $50 fee charged for each tender call.

What is the Supplier Space?

The Supplier Space is the new portal for companies wishing to do business with Hydro-Québec. The main tool for responding to a tender call, the Supplier Space offers new features, such as signing up for RFP notices, updating your file, managing your organization’s contacts, submitting documents directly in the portal and sharing information with the person in charge of the tender call via the integrated mailbox.

What are the advantages of the Supplier Space?

The Supplier Space benefits both Hydro-Québec and its suppliers.

Benefits to Hydro-Quebec:

  • Standardizes and optimizes business processes while following best market practices
  • Improves process control and reduces risks
  • Simplifies communication with suppliers through an integrated messaging system

Benefits for suppliers:

  • Allows suppliers to update their information (contact person and information, etc.)
  • Makes it possible to sign up to receive tender notices in targeted sectors
  • Provides an integrated messaging system to communicate with the Hydro-Québec representative

How can I access the Supplier Space?

To access the Supplier Space, go to the portal and click on Log in in the blue log-in banner on our information page. If you are logging in for the first time to create a Supplier Space, follow these three steps.

How long will it take to create my Supplier Space? (How to register for a Supplier Space)

If you are already a Hydro-Québec supplier and you have your supplier number and your NEQ handy, the process is very quick. For new suppliers, it can take up to three business days to perform all of the validations.

Can I access the list of open tender calls even if I haven’t registered for a Supplier Space?

Yes. You can see the list of open tender calls in the Supplier Space even if you’re not registered.

However, you must create your Supplier Space to submit a proposal.

Can a company that is not a Hydro-Québec supplier create a Supplier Space?

Of course! By creating a Supplier Space, your company will be indicating that it would like to be a Hydro-Québec supplier. You can also sign your company up to receive RFP notices in a particular area and never miss a business opportunity! To create your company’s Supplier Space, follow these three steps.

Can several people in my company access the Supplier Space?

Yes. Supplier Space contacts can have an administrator or a collaborator profile. The collaborator profile is selected by default when creating a new contact, unless otherwise indicated.

How can I find out if my company already has a Supplier Space?

  1. First, try to find out if that step was already taken by someone in your company.
  2. If you are not sure, submit a request to create a Supplier Space.
  3. If an account was already created, the system will let you know or the Supplier Space administrator will be informed that you would like to collaborate.

How can I change our company’s Supplier Space administrator?

The best way to change the administrator is to have your company’s current administrator of the Supplier Space make the modification or add an administrator using the Request to change Supplier Space administrator form. If the administrator is not available (departure, leave, etc.), the change or addition may still be made with proof of identity.

Can I be the administrator of more than one record in the Supplier Space?

Yes, you can. If you are already the administrator of a record and want to be the administrator of other records in your Supplier Space, you must fill in the Request to add an administrator on another record form. You can then access all the records in your profile.

Important! If you are the administrator of more than one record, be sure to select the correct record when submitting a proposal. Use the triangle next to your company’s name on the right of the screen (see yellow box below). Click on the triangle to select a record.

Can I use the Supplier Space to send my invoices?

No. The invoicing system has not changed. If you need information about a payment or an unpaid invoice or if you have any questions, please consult the Invoicing and payment page.

Can I change the email address I use to log in?

No, you cannot. However, you can change the email address at which you receive messages and notifications through the messaging system. To do so, go to the Supplier Space, log in and click on your name at the top right of the screen. Then, click on My Account and change the information in the email address field.

Your login address remains the same.

How can I reset the password to access the Supplier Space?

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it. Go to the Supplier Space and click on “Log in.” A window will open where you can click on “Forgot password.” You will then receive an email to select a new password.

Are there fees for bidding on open calls for tenders?

Yes, there is an annual subscription fee of $75.

When you sign up, you will have unlimited access to documents pertaining to open calls for tenders and be able to submit a bid during the subsequent 12-month period.

To participate in open calls for tenders, your company must be registered.

Article 21.0.4 of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies (CQLR, c. C-65.1) allows interested bidders to file a complaint regarding the documentation of a current tender call subject to an intergovernmental or international agreement.

This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All reports and requests for support and mediation are treated impartially and confidentially. Individuals who make reports in good faith, or who cooperate with a validation or investigation, are protected from retaliation.
