Charter of the French Language: Update on the Requirement to Comply with the Francization Process to Enter into a Contract with Hydro-Québec

Any business wishing to enter into an agreement with Hydro-Québec must not appear on the list of non-compliant enterprises with respect to the francization process [in French only]This link will redirect you to an external site., as maintained by the Office québécois de la langue française (OQLF). Furthermore, if the supplier operates in Québec and has employed 25 or more persons in Québec for six months or more [in French only]This link will redirect you to an external site., it must hold one of the proofs of compliance with the francization process issued by the OQLF.

Accordingly, Hydro-Québec is prohibited from entering into a contract with any supplier subject to the Charter who fails to comply with the francization process.
