Description
Installation of:
- Three 250-kW geothermal heat pumps installed on a hot water system
- A 100,000-L accumulation reservoir supplied mainly with heat by geothermal heat pumps
A heating system combining heat pumps and propane runs primarily on electricity with propane used during periods of extreme cold and when Hydro‑Québec asks greenhouse growers enrolled in the Additional Electricity Option to interrupt the electrical load related to heating.
