Description
Installation of:
- Four 700-kW aerothermal heat pumps installed on a hot water system
- A 1,000,000-L accumulation reservoir primarily supplied with heat by aerothermal heat pumps
- 4,938 LED lights for horticultural use
A heating system combining heat pumps and auxiliary heating runs primarily on electricity with auxiliary fuel during periods of extreme cold and when Hydro‑Québec asks greenhouse growers enrolled in one of the Additional Electricity Options to interrupt the electrical load related to heating.
