LogisVert Efficient Homes Program – Recent changes to the financial assistance offered for geothermal heat pumps

Installers of geothermal heat pumps

Good news! Beginning August 25, 2025, financial assistance will be available to residential customers for the replacement of a geothermal heat pump in the amount of $250 per 1,000 BTU/h, up to a maximum of $18,000. The request for financial assistance will be presented directly to Hydro‑Québec by the customer.

Eligible homes

• House (detached, semi-detached, row house, mobile home, four-season cottage)
• Multiplex
• Residential building with no more than 19 units

Installers and builders

Please note: As of August 25, 2025, financial assistance for the purchase and installation of a geothermal heat pump will be capped at $54,000 (for houses only), which is equivalent to a total capacity of 72,000 BTU/h (6 t).
