Amendments to the Competition Act

Starting June 23, 2023, the Competition Act prohibits agreements to i) fix wages or conditions of employment, or ii) restrict the mobility of employees through mutual non-solicitation and non-hiring commitments.
Hydro‑Québec intends to comply with the provisions of this law and, consequently, no longer considers itself bound by agreements that contravene the amended law.
