A building automation system refers to the infrastructure required to manage a building’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.

This program is designed for business customers benefiting from rates that are eligible for the DR Option or for an Interruptible Electricity Option and that have one or more commercial, institutional or industrial buildings that are supplied with electricity from the Hydro-Québec grid (off-grid, municipal or cooperative systems are excluded).

Please note that payments are retroactive to July 1 2024.
The financial support granted can cover up to 90% of eligible costs for small businesses and up to 75% of eligible costs for medium and large businesses.
The financial support is based on your building’s real power demand, i.e., the building’s ability to curtail kilowatthours during peak demand events. This is calculated in the OSE calculation tool.

Yes, your business must be signed up for the DR Option for a minimum of five (5) years following the work completion date. For more information, please refer to the program conditions and commitments [PDF 102 KB– in French only].
