Transitional rules for the Farming Component
New terms and requirements
The requirements of the Farming Component of the Efficient Solutions Program were modified on April 2, 2024. Please refer to the section that applies to your project.
This module includes LED lighting (general and horticultural purposes), piglet warmers, fans and milking equipment.
Project started between December 15, 2022, and April 1, 2024.

Applications received before December 15, 2022, are not eligible for the program.
Project started on or after April 2, 2024.

This module includes installing aerothermal and geothermal heat pumps and Accumulation reservoirs in greenhouses.
Project started on or after June 15, 2023.

Applications received before June 15, 2023, are not eligible under this component but may be eligible under the Small Businesses Component or the Medium and Large Businesses Component of the Efficient Solutions Program.
This module includes more than 200 energy efficiency measures: installing heat pumps, air compressors, variable‑frequency drives, etc.
Project started on or after June 15, 2023.
